espresso cups

These lovely espresso cups are built from thin porcelain slabs, carefully shaped and painted by hand, fired twice, and glazed with clear glaze.

Although they look thin and fragile, they are strong due to the hi-fire process which makes porcelain hard and resistant to be enjoyed every day. The clay I use is quality English porcelain and it has high translucency. All objects have a smooth bottom, so they don't scratch furniture.

Occasional marks and irregularities are what make each piece original and unique.

Microwave and dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand wash for all handmade items.
