Laurestine serving plate

These serving plates are hand-formed from thin slabs of porcelain and decorated with underglaze. Although they look thin and fragile, they are strong due to the hi-fire process which makes porcelain hard and resistant to be enjoyed every day. The clay I use is quality English porcelain and it has high translucency.

Occasional marks and irregularities are what make each piece original and unique.

Items with gold lustre need some extra care to stay nice and shiny for longer. Do not scrub the gold. For cleaning use soapy water and a soft cloth.

I recommend hand washing for all handmade items.
