butter dome

These butter domes are formed by hand from thin slabs of translucent English porcelain and hand-painted with underglazes. They are coated with clear glaze and decorated with gold lustre. Although they look fragile, they are strong due to the hi-fire process which makes porcelain hard and resistant to be enjoyed every day. Please note that marks and irregularities can appear on the items due to the handmade process.
Items with gold lustre need some extra care to stay nice and shiny for longer. Do not scrub the gold. For cleaning use soapy water and a soft cloth. Hand wash recommended.
Not microwave-safe.
